Why did my cs3 stop working, saying that the license has stopped working?

I have tried doing all the steps that MS has listed but nothing is working??!! I even tried downloading their trial version of PS Elements 9 and PS CS5 and it acts like its installing on my computer but when its done, its not installed...??? help..
